Clayworks Summer Camps

KIDS SUMMER CAMPS
This five-day camp is designed for kids ages 6-10. They will create fun colorful pottery using three basic hand building methods: Coiling, pinching, and slab-building. Each camper will also get to experience making a pot on the potter’s wheel. Campers will glaze all of their own work and have it to take home with them on the last day of camp.

Tuition $225 per week


YOUTH POTTERY SUMMER CAMPS
This five-day camp is designed for kids ages 11-15. They will learn basic wheel-throwing skills and a variety of finishing techniques for handles such as coils, sculpted handles, and traditional, pulled handles. Students will learn techniques using the wheel to make pots of different styles, such as: mugs, pitchers, casseroles, and lidded jars. Students will also learn basic glazing techniques to make their projects truly one of a kind. Projects will be ready two weeks after for pick-up.
