Charlotte Ballet Summer Camps

The Academy offers dance camps, classes and workshops throughout the summer for current Charlotte Ballet Academy year-round students and other local dancers.

Summer Intensive Ages 11-22 | June 22-July 25, 2026
Since its inception in 2000, Charlotte Ballet’s Summer Intensive program has been recognized for encouraging students to go beyond their technical training, explore new movement and further expand their versatility as dancers. The program includes diverse classes, strong training, supportive faculty and beautiful studios.

Junior Intensive for Students Age 9-12 | June & August 2026
The Jr. Intensive is designed to help students age 9-12 build strength and technique in preparation for more advanced programs. Both daytime and evening options are available.

Summer Classes Ages 3-10 June & July 2026
Explore dance through a variety of classes during the five-week summer session. No prior dance experience required for most classes. Classes available at Charlotte Ballet’s Center for Dance in Uptown Charlotte and Cain Center for the Arts in Cornelius.

Summer Camps
Week-long Storybook Camps for children ages 3-6. Students do not need dance experience to participate in summer camps. Classes available at Charlotte Ballet’s Center for Dance in Uptown Charlotte, Cain Center for the Arts in Cornelius and Charlotte Country Day School in South Charlotte.

Center For Dance Storybook Dance Camp
Favorite storybook tales and fun themes come to life through dance, music, crafts, and performance! No dance experience required.
Dates:
• June 15-18 (Monday – Thursday, no camp on June 19)
• August 3-7 (Monday – Friday)

Cain Center For The Arts Storybook Dance Camp
Favorite storybook tales and fun themes come to life through dance, music, crafts, and performance! No dance experience required.
Dates:
• June 15-18 (Monday – Thursday, no camp on June 19)
• August 3-7 (Monday – Friday)
