If you're like me, you LOVE getting the kids out on the farm to experience farm animals, farm life, farm stores, and farm crops! There's nothing like being able to run around in the open air and experience life on a farm! Even better, there's nothing like experiencing a corn maze on a farm in the fall! There are usually pumpkin patches, fall activities and entertainment, many have jumping pillows, an animal petting area, and of course the corn field with a maze in a special design. Families can wander through and walk the maze, for little ones they can answer farm questions to help guide them through the maze, and for adults, many have haunted trail corn mazes at nights! We've put together a list of corn mazes from around the Queen City or within an hours drive from Charlotte to let you know about all the corn mazes in our area! We hope you enjoy fall family fun this year on a farm!
This year we ask to visit the Farm's website before you head their way. Always bring a mask for you and all your family members and keep your distance!!

Patterson Farm is located in 45 minutes north of Charlotte. Fall Fun on the Farm Weekend Events run from Sept. 25 – Nov. 1st. Weekend Activity Hours are Saturday & Sunday: 10:00-6:00. In addition to all our normal attractions like pig racing, treasure mine, pumpkin princess, chalk art wall, farm to table play. They have the following Special Events planned for the season. Shelby Corn Maze is located in 53 minutes west of Charlotte. Shelby Corn Maze is open in the Fall each year for family entertainment and outdoor fun. This year, they added a super-big Jumping Pillow to the fun at Shelby Corn Maze. Kick of your shoes and hop-hop for a great time! It's fun for "kids" or all sizes and ages, from two to ninety-two.
