Founded in 2012, Charlotte New Music (CNM) promotes the creation and performance of contemporary music in Charlotte and beyond. With primary disciplines in contemporary classical, modern, avant garde, experimental, sound art, and electronics, CNM supports composers, songwriters, and musicians through unique educational experiences, compelling performances, and opportunities for collaboration across artistic disciplines and genres.

Composers and musicians have come from every continent except Antarctica to join in our annual festival each June!

For the 9th year in a row, we are happy to welcome composers, musicians, and audiences to the CNM family.
