Union County Heritage Festival

Join the Union County Extension Master Gardeners and the Heritage Festival Planning Committee for the 6th Annual Union County Heritage Festival and Wild Turkey 5K! The festival is free and we have plenty of parking!
The Heritage Festival is dedicated to the celebration and education of the natural, cultural, and historical heritage of Union County, NC.
Our focus this year is on celebrating the 40 year history of North Carolina's Extension Service. This year, our history goes prime time!
There will be live entertainment, great food, a vendor fair, exhibitors, games, educational and creative activities for kids, free talks, heritage arts demonstrations, fabulous raffle prizes, cooking demonstrations and more!

Each year we plan fun and educational activities for kids of all ages. Keep an eye out here for examples of the booths, crafts, and activities we have planned.
