Homeschool Rally, Jr. Edition: Traditional Storytelling & Drama Games

Homeschooled children ages 5-11 will explore arts activities. This month, we will read books, play games and do activities themed around theatre! From 11:00-12:00, join us to experience oral storytelling with no costumes, music, props, or books. Stories will be told in such a compelling way as to bring participants together in a shared experience, fostering a love for stories and books. This program will feature Charlotte Mecklenburg Library's very own Frontline Storytellers, Becca Worthington and Rene Kimray. From 12:00-1:00 we will focus on acting games and improvisation, so come prepared to be silly! These back-to-back programs will have a (very) slight break in between, so please feel free to bring a snack; you are welcome to join for just one program, or we’d love you to stay for both. This year we are requiring registration and capping at 50, so sign up now!
