Learn about basic kitchen concepts with sanitation, knife skills and nutrition. By making a bread,biscuits and cakes students will find out based on available ingredients how to make a proper nutritional meal based onthe my plate standards. With the help of the instructor, they will be able to understand the difference in measuring cupsand measuring spoons and how to identify what measurement the recipe calls for. Students will get help with the basicconcepts of baking in this lesson and understand when and how to maintain proper hygiene in the kitchen and how tokeep a sanitized station avoiding any cross contamination.In collaboration with Unity Fellowship Church Charlotte.
