Gemstone Mining at The Schiele Museum of Natural History

Investigate the fascinating world of rocks, gems, and minerals. Participants use identification and sorting techniques to find, examine, and classify minerals. Treasure-seekers will keep the gemstones they find.

Children must be accompanied by an adult. Each person will require a ticket.
This event takes place outdoors.
Each participant will need to wear a mask and practice social distancing.
**Limited tickets available for each session.**
Please arrive in time to check-in at the front desk and travel to the program area.
The museum lobby will be available for use of the restrooms; however, the rest of the museum remains closed. Ticket purchase is exclusively for program day you selected and for access to The Farm that day.
