Open Paddle

Do you want to experience the scenic waters of Mountain Island Lake on your own, or maybe take the whole family out for a watery adventure, but you don’t have your own boat? No boat, No problem! Reserve one of our kayaks or canoes and create your own adventure on the lake. Staff will outfit you with equipment, provide local knowledge about the lake, and help you launch from Latta Waterfront. Launch times are at 9am, 10am, 1pm, or 2pm and last for TWO hours.
Single Kayak - Ages 10 and up - $20
Tandem Kayak - Ages 5 and up w/adult - $25
Canoe - accommodates 4 people, must have 1 person over 18 - $30
